Step-by-Step Instructions

 

  1. Navigate to the Schedule: In the CTA platform, click the calendar icon on the left-hand side to go to your Schedule.  

  2. Open the Calendar Key: Click the "Calendar Key" button on the right side of the screen. A window will pop up with a list of all appointment types and their associated icons.

 

Appointment Type Definitions

  • Intake Screening: A preliminary appointment to gather a patient's basic information and initial needs to determine the appropriate next steps for care.

  • Counselor Assessment: A detailed appointment with a mental health professional to evaluate a patient's symptoms, history, and goals to develop a personalized treatment plan.

  • Medical Assessment: An appointment with a medical provider to evaluate a patient's overall physical health, diagnose conditions, and create a medical treatment plan.

  • ASAM Assessment: A specialized assessment based on the American Society of Addiction Medicine criteria to determine the appropriate level of care for a patient with substance use and co-occurring disorders.

  • Counselor Appointment: A standard therapy session with a mental health counselor to provide ongoing treatment and support.

  • Medical Appointment: A standard visit with a healthcare provider for a check-up, diagnosis, or treatment of a medical condition.
